Aurelia
In this project the task was to construct a multifunctional Computer case. This concept is a small computer with two translucent outer domes that can act as a lamp at the same time. The domes are removable and allow access to the inner housing. At the lower part of the housing there is a small device that ensures the stand on a desk. The connectors and buttons are also located at this part, so that they are easily accessible from either side. In addition, the cut-outs for the speaker are on the upper part and the cut-outs for the fan are on the lower part. My logo (asa) was also lasered into the middle of the dome.
Sketches
In order to get a feeling for the shape and to see how the light could be integrated into the computer case, several sketches were made. With these sketches it was possible to further develop the concept.

In the further process different models were designed and built with Solid Works. The sequence of this process can be seen from the following model series.
Light effects
Since the computer housing also functions as a lamp, various lighting effects have been integrated. One can determine the colour of the light and the other the luminous intensity.
